Our Comics

Cleto Rodriguez has has just won the "Funniest Comic in the Southwest 2006". He comes in now and then, when he can, but he's been busy. He's heading for special appearances to L.A. and New York comedy clubs. He's also been on "Que Loco" and the "Que Loco" U.S. tour and finished "Loco Comedy Jam U.S. tour. He has just Headlined at "Spellbinders" in Houston, Texas and appears frequently at the "Rivercenter" comedy club in San Antonio, TX. He has just finished a total of 2 weeks in Las Vegas at the Mandelay and Tropicana hotels. He just did sunset for 2500 fans here in San Antonio in August 06. . Cleto just left for US tour and is following that by a cruise line tour. He's busy now. He taken a hiatus because he's currently hosting his own show on http://www.flapdaddly.com

Louie Mendez was a regular at the Comedy Club at De Zavala. He's also been at the Rivercenter Comedy club and done his share of Latino Laugh offs. He started awhile back as well, starting at the "Comedy Workshop" in Houston, TX. Some of his alumni include: Sam Kinnison, Bill Hicks, Jack Mayberry, Dan Merriman, Thea Vidal, who made it to the semi finals in "Last Comic Standing," and Ron Shock He's been in some movies, such as "The Life of David Gale." Louie plays "Officer Ramirez and arrests Kevin. Look out Rodney King. He also just finished a movie called "The Book." Where he plays the lead role of a homeless Vietnam vet., and playing a deaf mute in an up coming 2008 release called, "Periphery."

Richard Trevino is a Regular at the Rivercenter Comedy Club and is now dedicating more time to touring throughout the U.S. He's opened for Paulie Shore, Tommy Chong, and BET's Comic View co-host, Renaldo Rey, and has also appeared on BET's Comic View. He's also known as the "Latin Lover." He's also just did a stint at the Sunset Station House of Blues in front of 2500 fans.

Jay Lafar. A native of New York, Jay has been a former bouncer, farm hand, fast food manager, a member of a functional dysfunctional family. He's been seen on San Antonio's Great Day SA, heard on KTSA radio, and independent film "The Heckler. He placed 2nd in the this years' "Funniest Comic in the Southwest." He's Funny and always there with a comment. He's recently showcased at "Sunset Station. Jay has performed with Chris Rock, Tommy Blaze, Tom Rhodes and Larry Reeb, Just to name of few. Some of the comedy clubs he's performed is Improve, Jokers in Cedar Falls, IA, Snickers, Fort Wayne, IN., and the River Center Comedy Club. Check him out at a comedy club near you.

Danny Ingle. Danny is quick witted and smart. Gary Ingle's cousin, who was a legend comic here in Texas. Danny can hold his own and has performed all over the Southwestern United States, recently back from L.A. also Tennessee and was at the Corpus Christi comedy club and the Sunset Station.

Dee Williams. Has opened his own defensive driving school, but he'll always be one of our comics. Be sure that we are going to hear good things about him. His students, past and present thinks he great!. He's been on the road and is regularly seen at the Rivercenter Comedy club and other clubs around San Antonio and Texas.

Doug Jones. He's the one on the left. (not really!) Almost Certified. He's young. He's good looking and brunette. He's favorite movie is "Broke Back Mountain." Has gone to Chicago for awhile.
